Welcome!

After igniting a new passion, I have been urged to publicly share this passion: photos of the very elements of life. These elements include food, flowers, and other fundamentals of nature.
Enjoy!

Love July's Harvests

Freshly picked corn from Szaley's Farm Market in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, ready to be prepared for the freezer. Great sweet corn all year!

Fresh raspberries...they didn't stand a chance. So sweet!

Fresh sweet corn and red potatoes with fresh dill from the back yard.

More sweet corn, mushrooms and onions sauteed with a little butter and olive oil, then hit with marsala and pinot noir until reduced then tossed with thyme.  Wow!   Also a small filet from Marshallville Packing...no middle man or inhumane practices.

My first attempt at blueberry pie.

Tasted great but I should have left it in the oven another 10 minutes.

Farmers Market Frittata, made with sauteed red and green peppers, onion from our 'garden', three cheeses on a bed of arugala and homegrown basil.  Yum!
